This summer, AW actively encouraged paddlers who have experience on rivers and creeks throughout Colorado's Gunnison River Basin to participate in our regional flow survey. With ongoing support from KEEN Footwear, we were able to offer a free pair of shoes to one lucky participant, chosen at random.

Last week, a random run of Survey respondents revealed that Amanda Crosby of Gunnison Colorado was our lucky winner!

Since we always like to know our members and volunteers better, we asked her a few questions. Say's Amanda:"I am from Trapper Creek, Alaska and currently live in Gunnison, CO. My favorite river in the Gunnison Basin is the Taylor River; a perfect run for after work! I've been paddling for 6 years now, mostly oar frame. I am a huge supporter of river safety and conservation. AW has proven to be a great source to find out the latest on river initiatives across the country, and how to get involved."

Thanks to everyone that participated in the Survey! We are currently and actively using the data you provided to seek protections for boatable flows on rivers and creeks throughout the Basin.
